I'm Rocío Caputo, a visual development artist and illustrator from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I graduated from Universidad de Palermo, Buenos Aires with a bachelor's degree in Illustration Design. My goal is to tell stories, design, and continue growing as an artist.
Recent projects include Mayo Clinic Press' "The Perfect One", Bebe Rexha ft. Snoop Dogg's 'Satellite', Rebel Girls' 'Goodnight Stories: 100 inspiring young changemakers', Fluffy's 'Fluffy Bits', and several more unannounced projects.
I'm passionate about telling stories through my work. I love to study the essence of a project to be able to portray it in the illustration, creating a deeper visual narrative with the composition, color or shape language. I'm especially fond of adding details to be found by the spectator, to create a greater connection to the piece.
I'm always trying new materials and improving my drawing skills, so it's quite easy for me to adapt myself to illustrate on the style that works best for each project.
When I'm not drawing, you can usually find me teaching, creating ceramic pieces, playing board games or taking a walk with my dog, Tofi.
